The Company Janak Manufacturing Works was established in the year 1951 which later became Metalbeds India in the year 1979 and has now been a Private Limited Company, Janak Healthcare Pvt. Ltd.
Janak journey began in the year 1951. From manufacturing standard hospital furniture, it went on to provide the complete range of modern Patient Care Equipment. Janak has been the first in India to Develop Intensive Care bed, Emergency and Recovery Trolley, Two Section Labour Table and of course India's first electrically operated Hospital Bed.

Janak have their factory situated at Umbergaon which is 170 Kms. away from Mumbai, a built up area of 4000 sq. meters with possibility of additional expansion upto 8000 sq. meters.
The high quality raw materials like cold rolled steel, stainless steel, laminated wood and many components needed are sourced from the best companies in India. Many critical components are imported such as electro-mechanical actuators, some castor wheels, hydraulic pumps and specialized hardware for safety and better functioning. |
